Just as clothes don’t come in one size, so is there no one size fits all workout program.  What works for others may not work the same for you.  Consider the fact that there are no less than 10-15 acute variables that a fitness professional uses to write out a progressive, periodized, safe, and effective workout program for his or her client.  Just as a physician exam his or her patient prior to writing a prescription, a trainer examines his or her training client prior to writing out a program.  A fitness professional is a very important tool which can and should be used by everyone from young teens to professional athletes and everyone in between, including you.
