Children's Activity Center

Here at 68’s we have a tremendous Children’s Activity Center.  This 2100 sq. ft. facility is designed with your infants and toddlers in mind.  We have an infant room; walker area, kitchen, and tunnel play system.  During morning hours we have court time for gssym games and for using our jump castle.  We do offer crafts and other activitiesfor older children when the need arises. Our staff takes great pride in keeping our facility clean and tidy.  We offer not only indoor play but we have an outdoor play ground as well for good weather days. 

• Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years are welcome in the CAC. 
• Children under the age of one are allowed to stay 1 hour and 15 minuets a day. 
• Ages 2 and over are allowed 2 hours a day.

Bad Weather Policy: If there is bad weather and the Shawnee Mission Schools are out for the day, then the Children's Activity Center will open one hour later in the morning. Please call 888-9247 for more information.

Meet the Director

Andrea Storm has been the director of the Children’s Activities Center since November 2007.  She started working at 68’s in 2006 and moved to assistant director in July 2007.  Before coming to 68’s Andrea worked in a pre-school setting for 8 years.  When her daughter was born in 2003, she decided to stay home to take care of her own two children, Aletha (4) and Asher (2).  She says that working at 68’s allows her to do what she loves, working with children, but still staying close to her own kids.
